Terms of Use
Last updated: 22nd June 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who we are
Rhinal ("the Service") is an early-stage product operated by Ayan Mukhopadhyay ("we", "us"), an individual based in India. The Service is currently in early access / MVP and is provided on an "as is" basis. Contact: lynexlabsmedtech@gmail.com.
2. What Rhinal does
Rhinal is a personal knowledge tool. It takes thoughts and notes you provide, uses an AI model to structure them into records, and stores those records in your own connected Notion workspace. You connect your own accounts (Google for sign-in, Notion for storage) and, optionally, your own AI provider API keys.
3. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement.
5. Not for patient-identifiable data (important)
Rhinal is a thinking and memory tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. During this MVP phase you must not enter personally identifiable patient information, protected health information, or any data that would identify a real individual patient. You are responsible for ensuring anything you input complies with your professional, ethical, and legal obligations.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses AI models to generate structured records, summaries, and other outputs. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong. You must independently verify any output before relying on it, especially for any academic, clinical, or professional purpose. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
7. Your accounts and keys
You connect your own Google, Notion, and (optionally) AI provider accounts. You are responsible for keeping your own credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Any AI provider API keys you provide are used solely to run the Service on your behalf. You are responsible for any usage costs billed by your AI providers.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you input and of the records created in your Notion. We claim no ownership of your content. You are responsible for the legality of what you input.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; input patient-identifiable or other prohibited data; attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service or other users; reverse-engineer or misuse the Service; or use it to harm others.
10. Availability and changes
This is an MVP. The Service may change, break, lose data, or be discontinued at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; material changes will require renewed acceptance.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI output. Because this is a free early-access product operated by an individual, you use it at your own risk.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of West Bengal.
